Foreign Characters and HTML entities - Mötley Crüe and Déjà Vu

 Just a test to see how HTML entities appear in an RSS feed.

It turns out, using HTML entities in a Movable Type blog post title is a bad idea for the following reasons:

  1. The entity name appears in the RSS feed and in RSS readers (e.g. é instead of é)
  2. I now encounter an error when attempting to edit this post.
